While it might not be a win for Trump, this decision is a win for the American people. The President’s attempt to force the National Guard into a policing role does nothing to quell accusations of authoritarian abuse of power from the left.  As much as the federal government might disagree with how Chicago or any other city deals with crime, it is up to the elected officials of that city to sort out their problems. The system that many Americans have complained is failing after the appointment of conservative judges to the court, seems to be working after all.
