1. The Onion – White House Denies Flickering, Green Trump A Hologram

Speculation about President Trump’s health goes to a new extreme, as maybe he’s not even able to make his own public appearances. And you get to see Donald Trump as a green electronic projection.

2. The Babylon Bee – 12 Crimes You Can Get Away With By Saying “We Are On Stolen Land”

Wokeness as a defense against the police is taken to its logical extremes. Some clever wordplay as the Babylon Bee staff runs through the gamut of crimes, from jaywalking to burning down Minneapolis, each with its own stolen-land excuse. And there’s a surprise fashion faux pas at the end.

3. Reductress – Masked ICE agents praised for stopping the spread of COVID

Clever mix of two of the biggest news stories of the last 5 years, as ICE meets COVID in this joke. It’s nice to see ICE being praised for something, even if it is sarcastic. The headline also manages to satirize Democrats, for now praising something they’ve been aligned against.

4. Saturday Night Live – ICE Meeting

The SNL cast makes fun of the heightened negativity of ICE behavior during an awkward question-and-answer session in a Minneapolis meeting. And SNL fans should be excited to see the return of Pete Davidson, playing Trump’s border czar Tom Homan.

5. The Daily Show – The Discombobulator

The Daily Show makes fun of Donald Trump’s silly name for a secret weapon that helped the US capture Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela. He’s not allowed to talk about it, so naturally, Trump keeps talking about it.
