“I hope we see a lot of new, young fresh faces do well in 2026.  I’m 73, and it’s totally clear to me it’s time for the old guard to move on.  Most of the geezers are too caught up in the money game.  This makes them cautious, because they don’t want to anger anyone.  After a while, it’s hard to know what they stand for — or really even believe — other than survival.”

– Jeff

“For the 2026 election, predictions are hard to make, but what I would say is that the election will reveal US voters’ vibes. The country has gone through a lot since January 2025, starting from federal employees’ terminations to right-wing activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination—from high tariff imposition to successful peace agreements with US involvement. So the 2026 election will be a test bed that will prove, amid praise and criticism, where the Trump administration actually stands. A large number of youngsters’ pulse is likely to be Republican, but the elderly population who run the families can have a totally distinctive perspective—followed by job market downturn and price hikes. Overall, 2026’s election will determine if Trump is successful in his MAGA mission or not!”

– Susmita
