The President’s Speech

Word has it President Trump will talk about election reform in his speech to the nation tonight.  I sure hope it’s not another rehash of 2020.  I was a poll worker in 2022.  I think asking to see some ID isn’t a big deal — in fact, many voters in my line WANTED to show their IDs, but we were told we couldn’t look. We show ID for everything these days, why not voting?  I also think it’s not asking too much to get those who vote-by-mail to submit their votes a week early. That way, we can actually count all the votes on election day.
