Leftists’ Selective Outrage Over Iran War

For months, Iranians risked their lives in the streets for freedom from the Ayatollah’s regime. When the government massacred about 35,000 people in January, leftists around the world stayed silent.

Yet as soon as President Trump acted against Iran, those on the left erupted—branding him a dictator and chanting “Death to America” at Columbia University.

These are the activists who protested Israel’s actions in Gaza but never condemned Hamas’s massacre, or the Ayatollah’s killings. 

The activists champion LGBT rights and women’s freedom in the West while ignoring that in Iran, homosexuality carries the death penalty and refusing the hijab can be fatal.

The Islamic Republic is not onlyauthoritarian—it is the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism, funding groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis for 47 years.

Now, as Iranians worldwide celebrate Khamenei’s death, many on the left mourn for a man who orchestrated decades of terror. The hypocrisy is undeniable.
