When Buying Sports Equipment Becomes a Crime

A young man in England was arrested after purchasing a baseball bat. After buying the baseball bat, he left the store, only to be stopped immediately by the police, despite the bat being wrapped in its original packaging. As videos of the incident circulate online, with many are saying that London has fallen and that the man should not have been arrested. Some have even been making videos and memes to mock the absurdity of it all. This incident is yet another in a long line of examples as to why the British people have lost all respect for their government and law enforcement, as now people can not even buy sports equipment without fear of arrest and persecution.
