AIR TRAVEL CONTINUES IN ICY CONDITIONS

Frustrated by the debate over ICE, Democrats chose to initiate a partial government shutdown, which left many federal employees—primarily TSA agents—without pay. Unable to continue working without compensation, many agents decided to resign in order to make ends meet. As a result, airports became overcrowded with long lines and delays due to workforce shortages. In response, ICE agents were called in to help manage the situation, mask-free, to prevent further chaos. It is a bitter irony that, in this scenario, no one benefits; our political leaders often fail to address the underlying issues, instead opting to engage in discussions and shift the blame while the public bears the consequences.
