I for one won’t miss her. I think all the “act tough and be sure to share it on social media” stuff was WAY overdone.It was all theater. But real lives were impacted by all the cruelty. Whether you like him or loathe him, I think one has to admit Trump put on quite a show at the State of the Union.  Many heroes were recognized, the list of accomplishments was long and impressive. He asked Democrats to stand if they believed protecting Americans was more important than protecting illegal immigrants. I don’t understand why, but the Democrats chose to remain seated. Trump cleverly made the Dems seem, once again, out of touch.  They should have leapt to their feet.  

The FCC is going after Colbert and The View, demanding equal time for  candidates not invited to be interviewed.  OK.  Let’s be sure the same is required of conservative media outlets regulated by the FCC.

The Bondi hearing was quite pathetic. Clearly, there’s a cover-up going on regarding Epstein. She repeatedly attempted to change the subject, but will this strategy really work in the long term with Republicans? I believe that all Americans are tired of the nonsense, and the Great Reckoning is coming soon. And we thought Watergate was bad. 

It is sad to watch what is happening to America. Everyone is so angry. I think there is a silent majority of those who would prefer to see another way. If the extremes on each side could, for a moment, see their own contributions to our country’s dysfunction, that would be a start. You can’t solve a problem until you recognize it first. Everyone says they want the Epstein Files released.  We just got a big dump of documents, many of which were heavily redacted. One document — 119 pages of grand jury testimony — was completely redacted. Photos that used to be on the DOJ website disappeared, and a photo of Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson with young people — whose faces were blurred out, as if to protect victims — just appeared. But the photo was taken from another public event and the photo has been in circulation for decades. This is so bush league.  People are sick of all the delays and what…

The attack on the three nuclear facilities in Iran is generating a lot of turmoil and angst. But what’s worse?  Dealing with this situation in a forceful way — as Trump has done — or hanging around for the next 20-30 years wondering what Iran will do, what Israel will do, what Hamas and Hezbollah will do, etc.?
