Iran is Not a Forever War Yet.

The Afghanistan war was 20 years. The Iraq war lasted eight years. Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden all engaged in various multi-year, anti-terrorist campaigns throughout the world.

As of writing, the current war in Iran is just reaching the two-week mark.

It’s confusing that some people online are caught up about America entering another “forever war” when this military operation hasn’t even surpassed a year. All this clamor adds unnecessary pressure on our military during a time when they have been committed to this military operation and should finish it thoroughly so that Iran cannot threaten our allies and the world again.

Will this operation take longer than what the Trump Administration probably expected? Sure. But it’s not a forever war just yet. Have patience. We have 20 more years before this becomes a true forever war, like Afghanistan
