When Lindsey Graham died the other day at age 71, I was shocked to learn he was only 71. I’m 74, but in my mind, I’m like a teenager compared to Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins and so many others in the Senate. Age is partly an attitude; even though Bernie Sanders is 84, he seems much younger than the others I just named. Joe Biden was clearly WAY past his prime when he thought he could run again; Donald Trump doesn’t seem too far behind at this point. I hope young people can see big changes are coming. They need to prepare now and be ready to rise.
